Hosting the Barnett Shale Crawfish Boil was an idea conceived by Finley Resources Inc. as a way to bring key players into contact with

other local businesses that support the industry in a casual and fun environment. This networking event served a dual purpose as an awareness and fundraising event for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth.

 

In  its first two years, the Barnett Shale Crawfish Boil has raised nearly $300,000 in net proceeds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Fort Worth.

 

The event has additionally created an awareness of the Clubs' programs, volunteer opportunities, as well as donation needs in a business sector where individuals and companies are eager to do good works locally.
